We are very excited to announce our first order of McIlroy Guitars, handbuilt by master luthier Dermot McIlroy in Antrim, Ireland. The guitar you see below is owned by Acoustic Inn proprietor Andrew McIlroy (we don't think there's any relation!), an extra special 50th birthday present that we have all been truly amazed by. Dermot McIlroy has succeeded in producing a truly unique, rich, airy tone that we find among the most appealing of any guitars we've played. The balance and sustain on these guitars is nothing short of remarkable. Dermot clearly loves to craft gorgeous guitars, and he doesn't cut corners when it comes to selecting great back and side sets. It is this meticulous craftsmanship that sets McIlroy guitars apart from almost anything else we have seen.
